We may not have a new place to call home just yet, that's not stopping me from gathering inspiration and dream planning. If you want to follow along, my
Dallas pinterest board holds all the treasures.
Perhaps I'm drawn to this because I'm still waiting on my "lightbulb moment." Or, maybe it's simply because it's plain, brass and awesome!
I'm still loving gallery walls, but in the next house, I'm having an all white vision. Wonder if I could pull it off?
Many of the homes we're looking at are much smaller than our existing one. The above shelving option is so smart and such a great use of space. Don't have enough room for a big piece of furniture?...floating shelves are your answer.
My daily roller coaster of emotions continues concerning our move. I'm fortunate to have a husband who can stomach my ups, downs and loops. He forwarded me his daily devotion this morning and it is perfect. Love it when God speaks straight to my heart, at just the right time. I'm passing on these wonderful words just in case there's someone else out there in need of a little encouragement.
TRUST ME, and don't be afraid. Many things feel out of control
Your routines are not running smoothly. You tend to feel more secure when your life is predictable.
Let Me lead you to the rock that is higher than you and your circumstances.
Take refuge in the shelter of My wings,
where you are absolutely secure.
When you are shaken out of your comfortable routines, grip My hand tightly and look for growth opportunities. Instead of bemoaning the loss of your comfort,
accept the challenge of something new.
I lead you on from glory to glory, making you fit for My kingdom.
Say yes to the ways I work in your life. Trust Me, and don't be afraid.
"Surely God is my salvation; I will trust and not be afraid. The Lord, God, is my strength and my song, he has become my salvation." Isaiah 12:2
"From the ends of the earth I call to you, I call as my heart grows faint; lead me to the rock that is higher than I. For you have been my refuge, a strong tower against the foe. I long to dwell in your tent forever and take refuge in your wings." Psalm 61: 2-4
